Working with shop fitters in a building under construction, dealing with unusual building code issues, accommodating unique museum tasks, respecting the initial work of the most influential museum of modern art in the world and complying with last minute changes by one of the world’s great cinematic visionaries. Those are a few of the challenges presented when Barr Gilmore Art + Design asked IN8 to collaborate on the mounting of MoMA’s exhibition Tim Burton, at Toronto’s TIFF BellLightbox. The design took approximately seven months and was built in less than two.
